Situated on an idyllic stretch of south-coast beach in Kabalana with a finme surfing tradition, Bojangles is a characterful mid-range beach house that is ideal for two families or a group of friends travelling together. Kabalana is a small fishing village just 20 minutes from the historic city of Galle. The journey from Colombo's International Airport will take approximately four-and-threequarter hours.
Introduction
Owned by a Sri Lankan family, Bojangles is a homely and youthful beach house with an ambience that is refreshingly different from the many other beach villas located all along the southern coast. Interiors are scattered with memorabilia from western retro/pop culture including old pub signs to photographs of the Rat Pack, Bob Marley, Santana and Che. There are two separate units each with two ensuite bedrooms opening out to a verandah overlooking the swimming pool and the turquoise waters of the ocean beyond. Safe swimming is possible right in front of Bojangles especially during the season from October to March.
